NEIL LANDSTRUMM
------------------------
A fixture of the UK electronic music scene since 1994 Neil Landstrumm has released work on many of the most recognised labels in the industry. Starting with Peacefrog, shifting gears to Berlins’ Tresor Records he then upped the bass-game onto arguably the UKs’ greatest electronic label of the moment, Planet Mu. Neil's first album for Mu "Restaurant of Assassins" saw Landstrumm hijacking varied influences from techno, dubstep, garage and breaks as well as vintage 90s rave and Sheffield sounds. He is an artist who always seems to be at the spearhead of experimental, dancehall low frequency electronics with his Scandinavia label signature. A pioneer of new styles within techno, often copied and imitated Landstrumm has enjoyed a strong pedigree within the electronic scene. The success of Restaurant's ravestep sound led Neil onto a string of sessions for the BBC, a main feature on the German "Slices" DVD and relentless live tour dates all throughout 2009, Landstrumm's 2008 LP on Planet Mu, "Lord for £39", expanded on the steel-city industrial-rave styles set out in his last full-length venture "Restaurant of Assassins". Lord for £39 simply put is about being a baron on the cheap. With several cameos from such stately artists as Carlton Killawatt, Ebola and Si Begg, the vibe is "Imperial British Bass Psychedelia" and all it's stylish bleepy trimmings. Freshly imported southern-fried krunk, and sweet island dancehall are mixed with the refreshed roots of UK rave, steppers, grime and garage to brew an addictively low frequency elixir. Cult analogue gear and digital production techniques meet in the Witness Rooms to a useful and sovereign effect. Autumn 2009 also saw the mini LP project "Bambaataa Eats His Breakfast" again released on Mu. A psychedelic 8 track minimal album that wires together dubstep and grime’s modes and fx with a penchant for 8-bit melodies, brick-a-brack percussion and a touch of rave’s rude energy. Landstrumm's live show weaves British electronic heritage into a thoroughly modern bass experience.

DON PAPPY (IS DEAD)
----------------------------
Don Pappy is a Belgian, Brussels based artist that started out with vinyl spinning around 1995 and made the leap to production and hardware performances around 1999.

Mainly influenced by Acid, Elektro and ambient music, his songs can go anywhere in between these. He has also done other projects like the Drum and Bass / breakcore act of Anyman during the rage of TRACKTOR in Leuven, and has also been participating in several Free jazz improvisational performances with the Free sic Trio and Joadevil from reFLEXessions.

Pappy has had a few small releases here in belgium of which the pinnacle is most likely his support to Poladriod and Ikko on the second release of Data records: Russian Milk At The Bowling.

Nowadays pappy is still active as producer at home, and has unleashed his songs on the world by occasion with the help from internet and the modern independent media. He has come a long way, from tinkering with software to a complete hardware set up at the Tunnel One recording studio, and is proud to be playing again for the home crew of the Sewer Federation.

MIGRAEN BLEEP DIVISION
----------------------------------
This is the youngest alias of G303. Where G303 leans more towards acid, MBD is more dedicated to techno. Since the mid nineties G303 has hugely been influenced by electronic music, which in those days was called techno, nothing more, nothing less.

With G303 growing up in the nineties around Brussels, he had the advantage of a big and lively underground scene nearby. With clubs and venues like Fuse club, Caves de la chapelle, Bulten etc... lots of international techno dj’s passed the scene. Artists like Kikoman, the Advent, Neil Landstrumm, Green Velvet, Claude Young, Adam X as well as lots of Belgian artists like Deg, D-jack, Pierre, Popane,.. contributed to the tastes and likes of G303.

In the more complex year 2012 the style of Migraen Bleep Divivsion would be given more specific names like wonky or experimental techno. The main ingredients for his tracks and lives always remain the same: distorted drums and bleepy basslines. His weapons are Drummachines and distortions, synths and samples, lots of cables and a computer.
Since 2005 G303/MBD has released several tracks on labels like Subcom records, Animal trax and Stoorzender records.

CHAO XIN
------------
Chao Xin is one of those DJ's who cannot even remember when he started playing around with DJ Equipment, being around vinyl players even as a kid, but started playing Techno and Acid consistently around 1996.

He joined up with SWFD around 1999 and continued playing Underground tunes as one of the federation's resident DJ's up until this day. He also played as one of the home DJ's during the Tracktor saga in Leuven and after a short Drum 'n' Bass quest he joined up with the Belgium booty forces.

Over the last years Chao Xin became one of the three musketeers of the Spanking Records crew and was also one of the main players of the Booty night events in Silo. The booty quest brought him a lot of new experiences and even lead him overseas at the Detroit Electronic Music Festival with the Spanking team.

Though the taste of the booty sound and scene has had a real grip on Chao Xin for all this time, he has never abandoned his roots as a Techno-Acid DJ, and he is still proud and competent to blow your mind and shake your body in ways you've never experienced before.

SWFD
-------
SWFD is a collective founded in 1999, with as main goal to organise indipendent electronic music events, and to be a collective for new artists in and around Brussels.

The federation mainly focussed on Acid/techno/ elektro music but has never been limited to just these styles, and has proven this with its involvement in other projects like the TRACKTOR Parties in Leuven, the Notorious Booty Night events, Free Jazz performances in the capital and the formation of record labels like Data Records and Vexel.

The Sewer crew made its name mainly with their main trilogy of parties in the period of 2000-2002 at the Black Buddah loft next to the Canal in Haren, with artists like The Zodiak Commune gang, Legowelt, TLR, D-Jack, Seal Phuric, Shaman, Uriel, Poladriod, Ikko etc.

All the members of swfd are also active on their own and have continued to work in the music scene throughout the years, even during the silent SWFD years.

Now the gang is back together and focussed on bringing back those authentic SWFD like they happened back 10 years ago, again in the same warehouse where it all happened back then. During an era where the music we love so dearly has made place for a new generation and new styles of sound, but we think there is a need and room for the sound we are all so passionate about.
